Trash and large items (Rumpke)

• Wrap mattresses and upholstered furniture in plastic.
• TVs must be 32 inches or smaller.
• Schedule large item pickup 48 hours ahead.
• Remove toilet tanks.
• Freon appliances need paperwork — contact Rumpke.
• Batteries, tires and liquids are not accepted.
• No drywall, concrete, bricks, dirt or rocks.
• Drums, barrels and containers will be treated as trash.

Grass — IPMC 302.4

All premises and exterior property shall be mowed and maintained free from weeds or plants growing with vigor and in abundance.

No parking on grass

Ordinance 1280.10 (G), passed 5-20-03. Parking must be concrete or equivalent pavement to provide a durable, dustless surface.

Property maintenance

Maintenance includes elimination of peeling paint, deterioration siding and roofing, missing windows and doors, loose gutters, etc.

Section 302.1 — exterior property and premises shall be maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.

Section 302.7 — accessory structures including detached garages, fences and walls shall be maintained structurally sound and in good repair.

Junk motor vehicles — IPMC 302.8

Inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicles shall not be parked, kept or stored on any premises, and vehicles shall not at any time be in a state of major disassembly, disrepair, or in the process of being stripped or dismantled.
