Treasurer Brenda Owens

Brenda is a life-long resident of the City of Reading. She graduated from Reading High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati. She started her career at Procter & Gamble but left there to obtain her CPA license and start her own accounting practice where she has been assisting small businesses since 1995.

Brenda and her husband, Todd, have a son who is a student at the University of Dayton. They are active members of Our Lady of the Valley Parish where Brenda serves as a member on the Finance Committee. She also serves the community as the Treasurer of Reading CIC and as the Treasurer of St. Vincent DePaul Conference of Our Lady of the Valley. Brenda was sworn in as the elected Treasurer of the City of Reading on January 1, 2022 and is excited to continue to serve the community in her new role.
