Water Meter Replacement

The City of Reading is currently conducting a full meter change out for your water meters. NECO is the contractor doing this project.

NECO began replacing all meters in November of 2019. As of January 22, more than 2200 of 3500 meters have been replaced. If you have not had yours replaced or think you should have. NECO has mailed two letters to schedule these appointments. If you do not respond and schedule your meter change-out, your water service may be interrupted.
